Trainee Technician – Early Development of the Mammalian Embryo and Stem Cells

 

Trainee Technician (Fixed Term)

We are looking for research technician to work with Professor Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz’s Research Group working on early development of the mammalian embryo and stem cells.

The successful applicant will be involved in molecular biology techniques, stem cell and mouse embryo culture, as well as general laboratory duties, record keeping, and making travel arrangements for the Principal Investigator. The successful applicant will also have a chance to assist with research projects. Training will be provided for specific tasks.

The successful applicant should have four GCSEs or equivalent level qualification to include a science subject and a strong desire to get involved in scientific research.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months in the first instance.
