Full Professor of Affective, Behavioural and Cognitive Neuroscience, UCD School of Psychology, Permanent

 

Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Full Professor of Affective, Behavioural and Cognitive Neuroscience within UCD School of Psychology

The (full) Professor of Affective, Behavioural and Cognitive Neuroscience will provide academic leadership within the UCD School of Psychology, in active collaboration with colleagues in this School, in the other schools of the UCD College of Social Sciences and Law and throughout the University. Reporting to the Head of School, the Professor of Affective, Behavioural and Cognitive Neuroscience will exercise a national and international role on behalf of UCD in research and scholarship, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and academic administration, management and professional organisation in the academic areas of Affective, Behavioural and Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology. The School is committed to research led education, so the candidate will be expected to conduct research that supports high quality teaching in their field, and to lead innovations in both research and teaching directions. The post-holder will be expected to assume high-level management/administrative responsibilities within the School.

 

95 Full Professor Salary Scale: €120,273 – €154,522 per annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
