Research Assistant in Neuroscience in BORDEAUX/France

 

Description

The Cortical Plasticity group is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant (French grade: Ingenieur d’Etude).

We are interested in the function of neocortical circuits and their pathophysiological modification in autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

The project is fully funded for up to four years.

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team player with experience in the culture of human derived neurons from iPSCs and CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing. Experience in animal experimentation, in particular behavioral tasks, would be a plus. The appointee must have a Masters level degree or equivalent. The candidate should also have a good level of proficiency in English.

The team is a member of the Bordeaux Neurocampus — a center of excellence for neuroscience research in France.
