21 Apr Scientific Liaison Officer for EBRAINS
Supercomputers help us to find solutions to major social challenges and are indispensable for modern research. The Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) operates one of the most powerful supercomputing infrastructures in Europe, which enables us to analyse simulate the complexity of the human brain. The JSC’s High Performance Computing in Neuroscience department provides community-specific support for neuroscientists with respect to complex simulations and data analyses on supercomputers, as well as their methods. It plays a leading role in the Human Brain Project (HBP, https://www.humanbrainproject.eu/en/) an EU-funded Flagship initiative. The goal of the HBP is to build EBRAINS ( https://ebrains.eu/), a shared digital research infrastructure for brain research. As a member of the new EBRAINS Scientific Liaison Unit (SLU), you will bring together the HBP Science and Infrastructure Directors’ visions, the EBRAINS Community’s needs, and the day-to-day technical activities of the EBRAINS development teams.
