About this role
We have expanded our team and are looking for a team lead to oversee the clinical roadmap and manage our clinical product management team. This role will report to the VP of Product
Responsibilities: Team leadership
- Build and lead the Clinical Product Management team: select, hire, train and coach.
- Provide clinical and technical leadership to deliver future roadmap functionality and develop a research pipeline
- Provide leadership in collaboration with other medical directors, regulatory affairs, and other stakeholders in developing the clinical product strategy
- Form and lead cross-functional teams as required.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the company leadership team.
- Develop Product Management processes and team infrastructure.
Responsibilities: Clinical Product Definition
- Train Product managers to think rigorously and gather appropriate internal and external data to define the unmet need, craft product requirements, and evaluate performance tradeoffs.
- Provide senior Product Development leadership from product concept, through customer and product requirements, through implementation and launch.
- Coach the team to evaluate, prioritize, and communicate the roadmap for new pipeline products and timelines through the company.
Responsibilities: Define Clinical GTM/Launch Strategies
- Define Product positioning: Understand the competition, and be able to articulate how our product is differentiated and why those differentiators will win share in the marketplace.
- Work closely with commercial, product marketing, medical affairs, and medical communication teams to develop materials (eg, slide decks) to ensure scientific and medical accuracy as well as cross-functional alignment
- Leverage internal marketing and commercialization teams to position and successfully launch clinical products in the market.
- Help shape marketing material to communicate and promote value propositions and clinical value of the clinical products for acute disease (stroke, PE, etc). Work alongside marketing to bring to market and maximize product impact in the space
Responsibilities: Clinical Product Strategy, Vision & Storytelling
- Drive market narrative for how Rapidd software is influencing and driving patient value across hospitals globally
- Develop a strategic point of view: Collect, analyze and communicate competitive information to develop clinical competition intelligence internally.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies in the imaging, vascular and acute disease diagnostics spaces to define new and innovative opportunities to help achieve business goals

Basic Qualifications/ “Must-Haves”
- Doctoral degree in a clinical field (e.g. MD, PhD, PsyD, PharmD, etc.)
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, critical care, acute diseases (Trauma, STEMI, stroke)
- 7+ years of experience in consumer digital health product development including shipment of a product
- Med device experience with FDA submissions / clearance
- Excellent leadership, as well as verbal and written communication skills, and a strong understanding of relevant regulations and a commitment to compliance
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) with a knack for decomposing problems and communicating across multiple disciplines
- Strong leader, with proven ability to build and lead a strong Product Management team, including hiring, training and developing employees.

- Energy, enthusiasm, and sense of urgency.
