As the Lead Product Manager at Valera Health, you’ll play an integral role in redefining the healthcare experience for the people who need it most. This role is based in our New York office. As a Lead Product Manager you will be a part of a compassionate care team dedicated to elevating mental health care. We provide the technology and systems you need to work efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities of the Lead Product Manager

• Own a portfolio of products. You’ll define business and user goals of your product, develop roadmaps, spec new features, and collaborate with your team to discover, design, build, test, launch & iterate on new value-creators.
• Lead product vision. You’ll play a key role in evolving, advocating for and executing on a product vision that serves as the team’s North Star and delivers ongoing value to our users & customers.
• Be the voice of the users (customers, provider users, patient users, internal operations).
• Own your metrics. You’ll define what success looks like for your products and ensure that we have the data in place to measure our progress over time. You’ll also support other teams (sales, accounts, design) by surfacing data insights and helping to build a culture of data-driven decision-making at Valera.
• Understand the market. You’ll become a subject matter expert on digital mental health services.
• Take initiative. As an integral member of the Valera Health team, you will initiate and/or contribute towards other projects according to business need and your own unique talents. We are a young company with a big vision, which means lots of responsibility and opportunity to grow.   

Qualifications Lead Product Manager

• You have experience leading products that drive real user and business value. User research, design, business analyst or engineering backgrounds are a plus. Experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Passionate about building the future of healthcare: integrating technology and clinical best practices to create better healthcare experiences for patients, medical providers and the broader healthcare system.
• A fast learner. Healthcare is complicated; you’re excited to jump in, sweat the details and become an expert in digital mental health, care management and enterprise healthcare.
• A strategic thinker. You can balance Valera’s short & long-term objectives with user needs to build scalable products that drive value for users and customers.
• Data driven. You use data (both quantitative and qualitative) to inform your decisions and help others inform theirs. You’re comfortable with data analysis as well as making decisions with imperfect data, and you know how to extract qualitative insights from users.
• A team player. You align people around common goals and bring out the best in your team.
• An entrepreneurial “do-er.” You can think outside the box, adapt to change, prioritize effectively, think creatively and execute
