Occasional Research Assistant Help Opportunity at ICN
We are looking for some Occasional Research Assistant to work with the Plasticity Lab at the ICN, UCL. The post holder will be required to support research activities of the Plasticity lab – support data analysis, recruitment and piloting, acquisition of psychological and imaging data in clinical groups with motor deficits and healthy participants on an “as and when” basis.
Key Requirements
The post holder should have previous experience working with individuals with upper limb differences and experience working with body augmentation devices, preferably supernumerary robotic fingers such as the Third Thumb. Experience with setting-up and running research projects, participant recruitment and analyzing data (behavioral and neuroimaging data using software such as SPM or FSL and FreeSurfer) with a particular focus on studies with clinical patient groups is essential. A medical degree with relevant clinical experience in working with neurological patient groups is required. The applicant would also possess excellent organizational skills.
Further Details
The hourly salary will be based on the UCL salary scale Grade 6B Point 24 currently at £16.57 per hour, before tax.
