Job Description

We are looking for an Application Specialist to strengthen our team. As an Application Specialist, you are expected to know the different applications of ANT products with special focus on electrophysiological measures such as EEG as well as TMS Neuronavigational for research and clinical markets. You will be enjoying a dynamic atmosphere interacting with all functional departments, including Product Management, Sales, and Engineering, supporting with the relevant marketing projects, installing and demonstrating the products in different settings, and bring the feedback of the market to the team for further improvements. You will be working throughout the European Continental region.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Educate yourself on all aspects of the products and the relevant markets.
• Perform pre-sales demonstrations, trainings, and installation for our products.
• Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and other exhibitions where needed. Help define the range of relevant products together with the Sales representatives and support the logistical organization of the equipment to display at on-site exhibitions
• Provide first-line support for inquiries from our sales teams, distributors, and end-customers on product compatibility, positioning, as well as technical matters.
• Support the creation of advanced training materials and support the establishment of regular internal training events
• Consolidate market feedback towards Product Management to serve as input for the product roadmaps, and participate in product launch activities
• Generate internal and external facing documentation for the integration of ANT products with third-party applications
• Support the generation of marketing materials destined (with focus on the German speaking market). Identify and create copy for topics / customers to highlight in showcases and social posts.
• Support in the generation of tender documentation
• Support the generation and execution of externally funding projects

Required Skills/ Experiences:

• Background in Neuroscience, Engineering, or relevant clinical domains with focus on biological signals
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and one other language
• Broad knowledge of methodological approaches to the field of neurosciences
• Background in signal processing tools like MATLAB, Python, etc.
• Proficiency in Hardware/Software integration and set-ups
• Strong analytic thinking and Problem-Solving skills
• Good presentation skills to give technical and application-oriented demonstrations of the products
• High motivation to learn new methodologies and adapt to new tasks/skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel up to over 50% of work time during peak periods
• Autonomous and pro-active attitude
• Ease of establishing personal and professional networks

Preferred Skills/ Experiences:

• PhD, or equivalent degree, in Cognitive, Computational or Systems Neuroscience
• Publication records in scientific journals and being familiar with the principles of scientific writing in Neuroscience-related fields
• Track-record of oral presentations at national and/or international events
• Experience in supporting organization of academic/scientific events such as workshops, webinars, conferences
• Experience in (scientific) grant application generation
• Strong background with the ideation and set up of experimental paradigms in basic research, applied sciences and/or clinical settings
• Background in data acquisition and analysis pipeline generation
• Background in multimodal data acquisition and analysis techniques (e.g. MRI, EMG, Motion Capture, etc.)
• Experience with laboratory setup and maintenance
• Good working knowledge of additional languages is preferred
• Experience with diverse cultural settings to support customers across various focus markets
• Prior experience with ANT products
