eemagine is looking for a FPGA/Firmware Engineer (with experience/Senior) (m/w/d) for our office in Berlin, Germany. He/she will join our highly qualified, international and multi-disciplinary team working on product development / marketing and scientific technology projects. The selected candidate will report to Head of Electronics Development.

Main Responsibilities:
- Firmware (Microcontrollers, FPGA) design and simulation;
- Maintenance, improvement and modification of existing designs;
- Creating and maintenance of design documentation for each project life cycle;
- Collaboration with other team members, software developers and other departments on relevant tasks
Qualifications:
- Master’s or equivalent degree in electrical, computer engineering or similar field;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time working experience, more is a plus;
- Experience with FPGA design, VHDL (Firmware + Simulation, Testbenches);
- Experience with Xilinx FPGAs/SoCs and design SW is a plus;
- DSP algorithms implementation and simulation is a plus;
- Python for data analysis and simple simulations is a plus;
- Low level interfaces (SPI, I2C etc.) implementation experience;
- Embedded C/C++ knowledge;
- Experience with FPGA’s Softcore/SoCs microcontrollers and its’ coding in C/C++ is a plus;
- Analytical thinking;
- Good technical writing (English);
- Good communication skills (English);
- Collaboration readiness and understanding of the team work.
- Microcontrollers/FPGAs programmers/debugging probes;
- Experience with Xilinx or Altera FPGA design environment;
- Experience with Microcontrollers design environment;
- Measurement equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
