eemagine is looking for a FPGA/Firmware Engineer (with experience/Senior) (m/w/d) for our office in Berlin, Germany. He/she will join our highly qualified, international and multi-disciplinary team working on product development / marketing and scientific technology projects. The selected candidate will report to Head of Electronics Development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Firmware (Microcontrollers, FPGA) design and simulation;
• Maintenance, improvement and modification of existing designs;
• Creating and maintenance of design documentation for each project life cycle;
• Collaboration with other team members, software developers and other departments on relevant tasks

Qualifications:

• Master’s or equivalent degree in electrical, computer engineering or similar field;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time working experience, more is a plus;
• Experience with FPGA design, VHDL (Firmware + Simulation, Testbenches);
• Experience with Xilinx FPGAs/SoCs and design SW is a plus;
• DSP algorithms implementation and simulation is a plus;
• Python for data analysis and simple simulations is a plus;
• Low level interfaces (SPI, I2C etc.) implementation experience;
• Embedded C/C++ knowledge;
• Experience with FPGA’s Softcore/SoCs microcontrollers and its’ coding in C/C++ is a plus;
• Analytical thinking;
• Good technical writing (English);
• Good communication skills (English);
• Collaboration readiness and understanding of the team work.
• Microcontrollers/FPGAs programmers/debugging probes;
• Experience with Xilinx or Altera FPGA design environment;
• Experience with Microcontrollers design environment;
• Measurement equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
