Software Developer in Test

We’re looking for a Developer in Test to join our growing Engineering team. Architecting and building solutions, you’ll champion the users, clinicians or patients and help us create amazing products which bring natural adherence and enthusiasm for use. You’ll be happy driving us towards the right solutions and be unafraid of real data proving you wrong.

By joining the Engineering team, you will contribute to solving their key challenges of building secure, reliable and scalable solutions that will allow each doctor to treat thousands of patients more effectively.

 

Your Mission:

  • Work in close collaboration with Developers, Product Owners technical teams and third-party suppliers to ensure effective, positive testing outcomes
  • Complete investigations of system performance characteristics and automated system test fails
  • Design, implement & maintain test suite automation
  • Support and maintain tests, infrastructure and tools

 

From day one in this role we’ll expect you to have:

  • A strong understanding of development and automation tools, including Selenium and Appium
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using build tools e.g. Github actions
  • A solid understanding of Rest API’s and testing them using tools like Postman
  • An excellent knowledge Cloud technologies like AWS, GCP.
  • A demonstrated history of using best practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavioural Driven Development (BDD), Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
  • A strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle, specifically with coding, testing and debugging procedures

 

It’s great, but not required, if you have:

  • A keen interest and understanding of digital health
  • A genuine interest in Agile methodologies e.g., Scrum, Kanban
  • A thorough understanding of test principles, concepts and techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an appreciation for pragmatism and simplicity in code
