RE-AK Technologies Inc. is a startup company based in Montreal specialized in emotional, cognitive and behavioral analysis. Our activities include UX/CX/HX evaluation, custom system development and R&D. We are a very dynamic team and are looking for members who are driven with a passion for understanding human behaviour in a realistic environment.

Our mandates covers a wide-range of applications and, as a RE-AK team member, you need to be ready to: rapidly acquire new knowledge on various systems, be rigorous in your work, maintain a good track record of your software development and system operation, deliver stable systems, be able to communicate efficiently with the other team members to share knowledge and progress and interact with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of our software stack
• Organise the software development process
• Setup and maintain a deployment process
• Documentation
• QA
• System operation in the field
• Technical support for clients
• New feature development and implementation
• Support the R&D team with their software development

You should be experienced with, at least, several of these:

• Embedded Linux
• µController
• Windows development
• Python, C#, C
• Sockets and websockets
• Bluetooth (classic and BLE)
• GUI
• Near real-time software operation on embedded systems
• System and network performance profiling

Extra skills valued, but not required:

• Experience in UX
• Relational database
• Fullstack web development

This opening is for a full-time position. We implement a hybrid working policy.

Salary will be based on the experience and skillset of the candidate.
