Who are you 

Apollo Neuro is looking for a B2B Sales Manager to join our remote, growing team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to launch Apollo into the B2B channel, specifically focused on corporate (Employee Wellness as gifting or part of a benefits program), healthcare (Practitioners such as psychologists, physiotherapists, functional medicine doctors, chiropractors and/or psychedelic-assisted therapy clinics), and professional sports/elite training organizations. 

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Development, you have previous experience in B2B sales, ideally in the health and wellness industry and/or with selling a Consumer hardware device into businesses, and have worked independently to search for new client leads, negotiate contracts and orders, and nurture relationships to drive repeat business. 

 

Apollo for Business’ will be a new market for us – we are looking for a highly motivated individual who would love to be a part of building a new sales program from the ground up. You need to be able to actively approach targeted business clients through phone, email, online networks, at events and pitch the Apollo wearable in a compelling way leveraging existing content and marketing materials to build and customize your own pitches and supporting materials. You will also need to be comfortable with a ‘test and iterate’ approach, helping us build a sales strategy and plan that becomes more focused and targeted as we learn more about the specific verticals and organizations that resonate most with the Apollo solution.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-value leads and key potential partners and develop strategies for converting those connections into new, profitable partners. 
  • Understand the market dynamics and industry-specific trends and landscapes to bring new insights and solutions to grow sustainable business results.
  • Build and implement a CRM process and technology for Apollo to manage a new sales pipeline and ongoing customer relationships and communication. 
  • Create proposals, customized pitches, business plans, and other sales materials. 
  • Build and manage an active sales pipeline helping to project sales and revenue forecasts by quarter. 
  • Evaluate current product and marketing and recommend enhancements necessary to scale the channel. Work closely with marketing to help create scalable sales materials and marketing programs. 
  • Attend events representing Apollo Neuro and look for opportunities to scale our business within new markets and vertical channels. 
  • Monitor sales and analyze performance trends to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Understand customer needs for key organizations and verticals and build into product/program requirements.
  • Drive relationships within partner organizations at all levels and role profiles.
  • Collaborate internally, as well as engage strategically, with external stakeholders to acquire new customers.

 

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a sales role – ideally in the health and wellness and/or healthcare industry.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, engineering, or business administration.
  • Strong pipeline tracking and management abilities.
  • Background involving solution selling and successful negotiations.
  • A natural leader and problem solver who has demonstrated critical thinking and collaboration skills.
  • A demonstrated track record as a top performer throughout their career.
  • Experience at a startup or fast-paced technology organization is preferred.
