The role

Our EMEA team is growing, and we are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Key Account Manager BioPharma for the EMEA Biopharma customers who has a professional network in German BioPharma and CRO companies. The Key Account Manager is responsible for  achieving revenue objectives in defined key accounts by developing and executing strategic account plans, building business relationships, proposing solutions to customer challenges creating customer value, with the aim to establishing CST as a trusted partner. You will be part of the BioPharma sales team and you will report to  the BioPharma Sales Manager EMEA  who is based out of The Netherlands. You will work closely with all commercial and support teams across the organization.

 

You’ll have the opportunity to….

  • To (over-) achieve revenue goals in the assigned territory with key customers and defined product focus
  • To establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • To proactively assess, clarify, validate and satisfy customer needs on an ongoing basis including all components of company capabilities
  • To understand and communicate CST value proposition addressing customer needs
  • To develop and execute strategic and tactical sales plan in line with overall sales strategy and plan
  • To perform continuous account mapping, identify and sell effectively to decision making units in a solution-oriented team selling approach
  • To work in a team sharing experiences and fun
  • To constantly monitor and assess market dynamics, funding opportunities, competitive activities, business risks and opportunities, report findings into the organization and address through tailored tactical sales plans
  • To conduct presentations, seminars, and workshops to CST existing and potential new customers
  • To strive to maximum customer satisfaction

 

Who you are and what you bring to the team….

  • Master or PhD in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent
  • Good knowledge and understanding of antibody based applications and workflows
  • At least 3 -5 years proven sales experience in Life Science
  • Experience in a lab environment is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Highly commercially driven, results oriented and collaborative teamwork
  • Proficiency in German and English (French is a plus)
  • Availability to travel up to 70%
