The Operations Manager opportunity
The Operations Manager is a role with immense impact on NeuroTechX as a whole. In this role, the candidate will oversee all operations and planning to implement, deliver, and scale both future and current Initiatives. The candidate will also be involved in managing external vendors, internal budgets as well as new and existing sponsorship involvement, onboarding and relationships. They will also assist with recruiting, as needed, and will support NeuroTechXDirectors in assessing needs and required compensation for certain positions reporting to the Operations Manager.
Primary responsibilities
- Consult with NeuroTechX Directors on important value, policy, planning, and strategy decisions
- Manage Initiative (e.g., Chapters, Student Clubs, EDU, etc.) and special project teams toward defined objectives, tracking their progress and identifying key solutions, to ensure NeuroTechXannual goals are met
- Manage internal budgets and their allocation as it relates to said initiatives
- Managing external vendors where needed as well as any sponsorship involvement and onboarding. This includes being involved and close to the proposal process, negotiations, sponsorship package sign ons and how promised deliverables will be executed throughout the above said initiatives, where applicable.
Secondary responsibilities
- Identify and address opportunities and problems within the NTX community
- Translate reporting from Initiative teams to NTX leadership
- Assist with recruitment, as needed
What we’ll ask of you
- This is a full-time opportunity
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in business and 3+ years professional experience, OR an equivalent amount of professional experience where these qualifications could otherwise be satisfied.
- Nice to have: Experience in project management, event planning, client management

- Able to both strategize and operate – you can set a well thought-through vision and execute on it
- A team-player with a talent for clear, concise, and frequent communication across all parties involved.
- Nice to have: Past experience in the NeuroTechX community, past experience in management, operations, and leadership roles
