As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at Neuralink, you will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a broad range of semiconductor equipment. Systems include high vacuum systems, pumping systems, associated valves, manifolds, and control systems, corrosive and toxic gas delivery systems. You will ensure equipment is performing to specification by changing deposition shielding, cleaning vacuum chambers, and other preventative maintenance tasks. We are looking for a well-rounded, hands-on mechanically inclined team member who enjoys working on unique projects that will push them outside their comfort zone.

Key qualifications:

  • Evidence of exceptional ability in a technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair.
  • 2+ years of experience in at least 2 of the following equipment: plasma etch processing, electron/ion beam processing, laser processing, chemical/physical vapor deposition, photolithography, metrology, or additive manufacturing.
  • 2+ years of equipment maintenance/engineering experience.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experienced in troubleshooting vacuum and plasma systems.
  • Hazardous waste certification.
  • HVAC/Electrician certification.
  • Experienced in cleanroom facilities infrastructure (CDA, N2, vacuum, AWN, DI water, HVAC)
  • Equipment planning and documentation.
  • Worked in a cleanroom environment.
  • Field service experience with a variety of equipment in various disciplines
