Internship Description

A tremendous learning opportunity is available for working on cutting edge AI/ML projects to self-motivated part time candidates or students that are open to learning new technologies. For a three to six month engagement [extendable], at 20 to 40 hours per week, the candidate will work on projects associated with designing, developing, prototyping, and testing advanced research topics in machine learning or deep learning for applications such as time series prediction, computer vison, etc., as well as filing patent applications and publishing technical papers.

Qualifications

Part time candidates or Students pursing or who have completed a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or any other relevant disciplines with a background in machine learning or deep learning for applications such as time series prediction, computer vision, etc., is the minimum requirement. Additional requirements are as follows:

• Strong math and programming skills;
• Experience in quick prototyping and scientific research methods;
• Experience in Python, pandas, numpy, scikit learn, etc.;
• Experience in deep learning frameworks including Tensorflow, PyTorch, and Keras;
• Experience in software tools such as anaconda, docker, unit testing, REST APIs, etc;
• Experience in machine learning including data cleaning, visualization, training from scratch, fine-tuning classifiers, etc.;
• Contribution to open-source community (e.g., Github public project) is a plus
