As we continue our B2B business growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as a Sales Operations Director. This pivotal role will be responsible for delivering all aspects of sales operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of hands-on execution capability, organizational structure and a strong track record of success in sales operations within a startup environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales operations strategies to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • In collaboration with the sales team, design, automate, and optimize sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, contracting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and product, to align sales operations with overall business objectives.
  • Provide strategic insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis and market trends.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage sales technology stack, including CRM system, sales automation tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Guide and support the sales team from a collaborative stance, ensuring alignment with objectives and performance expectations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in sales operations, and implement relevant initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of at least 8 years in sales operations roles, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and drive results.
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up sleeves and tackle challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive as an individual contributor while also providing leadership and guidance to a team.
  • Experience managing and optimizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales technology platforms.
