The Senior Software Engineer and MindPlay builds K-12 browser-based education software. The role requires a good eye for design as well as an ability to work in the full stack. This position is part of a distributed development team and communication with clarity is critical.

 

Key areas of impact you’ll have:

  • Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company.
  • Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns.
  • Analyze and test programs and products before the formal launch
  • Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
  • Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
  • Performs any other related work as assigned

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of software design concepts and best practices
  • Expert knowledge of C#, .Net Core, and Angular 2+
  • In-depth knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • At least 6 years of experience in Software Development is required
